Some time during or after the Iraq War, D-4112 was acquired by the SCP Foundation as a D-Class, and was assigned to SCP-498 alongside D-4113; the mechanical arm utilized in containment was inoperational, and the two Class-Ds were tasked with manually resetting the alarm clock.
Problems arose on the third day of secondary containment when D-4113 opposing containment, impeding all of D-4112's attempts to pacify SCP-498. When Security Officer ███████ Wilson attempted to get D-4113 to comply, the disgraced Iraq War veteran incapacitated D-4112.
At some point after Officer ██████ Thomas killed D-4113 and sealed SCP-498's containment bunker, D-4112 fared internal bleeding from intense sound waves to reach SCP-498 and repeatedly press the "snooze" button in a panic. After containment team arrived to find him, D-4112 was treated for his injuries, commended for preventing a potentially catastrophic containment breach, and successfully terminated at the end of the month.
