George Herbert Leigh Mallory (June 18th, 1886 – June 8th or 9th, 1924) was a British mountaineer who took part in the first three British expeditions to Mount Everest, in the early 1920s. Mallory died during his third attempt to summit the mountain, becoming the earliest confirmed casualty of SCP-1529.
