CAONCI-Site-43, officially the SCP Foundation Lake Huron Research and Containment Facility, is a covert SCP Foundation facility primarily located underneath Lake Huron and the Ipperwash Provincial Park in Lambton County, Ontario. The aboveground section of the facility is recognized by the public under the front of Lake Huron Supply, Control and Purification, a water distillation and distribution company.
Handling anomalous activity in the Lake Huron area, Site-43 is the assigned facility to Nexus-94, the collective designation for the anomalous First Nations reservations along the Great Lake's coast. Due to its remoteness, Site-43 is considered the "backwater" of the SCP Foundation's North American holdings. In addition, Site-43 is infamous among the rest of the Foundation for their staff's atypical containment philosophy and the highly unorthodox procedures utilized as result; at almost every other SCP Foundation facility, there is some variation of the joke: "Is it actually uncontained, or is it just at Site-43?"

- The number 43 from Site-43 comes from the words "For Thee" which combined with the canon's title "On Guard 43" means "On Guard For Thee" which comes from the Canadian national anthem O Canada.
